Small local initiative aims to help Jamaican youth enjoy "The Beautiful Game"!
When his Jamaican friend Melvin needed help, Barca Manager Pascal Khawam decided he had to assist. Melvin has been taking care of children in his village of Trelawny, Jamaica. His dream was to complete a modest local project to rehabilitate a soccer field. Not only would it result in a quality soccer pitch for the village, it would allow the youth to safely enjoy "The Beautiful Game" without vehicles driving dangerously through the field! Pascal set up a Go Fund Me page and got the campaign going with a donation. If you are able to help support this worthwhile initiative, please do so. Pascal promises to keep us informed about the development of "GGSL Field"! (One thing is certain, $1,000 certainly goes a lot further to develop a soccer field in Jamaica than it does in Canada!)
